We make an humble effort to provide GUIDED MEDITATION to those who wish to learn to understand themselves. We read from and dialogue on the works of Sri Ramana Maharshi, the modern day sage of the sages who lived on the sacred mountain, Arunachala, in India. This circle provides an opportunity for introspection on the central message of His teachings, "Who Am I?"
We are a circle with a base in Lafayette. Please come join our circle at the studio or at any other location of your choice for readings, dialogue and guided meditation sessions. Please see studio schedule below. The methodology is geared towards preparing the mind for restrained thinking, allowing it to talk sans hubris, listening to the advaitic way of spiritual perception, and practicing silence.
We maintain a casual atmosphere allowing you to be, who you are. Providing an opportunity to recognize or "watch" your thoughts to know that mind needs to be tamed. Making it easy for you to establish an inner-connection or "innerecting" with other attendees, and other fellow beings.
Thursdays: 6 to 8 pm Saturdays: 9 am to 11 am
Readings and Meditation : One hour
Q & A and Innerecting: One hour
There is no need to have prior experience of meditating. All that is required, is a sincere desire for introspection towards one's own nature, and the humility to accept things beyond one's control.
All events, in addition to being held at the NJ Sri Ramana Meditation Centre, located in the historic district of Lafayette, can also be scheduled at your location. To reserve your space at either of these events, or for more information, please contact either one of us.
With Harmony, Peace, Contentment and Silence.
